Q.) What type of events do you perform at?

A.) I play for a variety of functions and events, from parties and celebrations to weddings and private gigs. There aren't many occasions that wouldn't benefit from the music provided by the harp - whether it be before, during or after, it adds a unique, elegant touch to any function.

Q.) Which areas do you cover?

A.) I am based in Central London and mainly play London and the surrounding areas, including Hampshire and Surrey. I am also willing to travel further afield if required, including overseas. (Travel and time dependent).

Q.) Do you play requests?

A.) I am willing to learn any pieces which are requested that are not on my repertoire list, providing enough notice is given for preparation. To see the pieces I currently play, take a look at my list here.

Q.) Can we hear you play in person before our event/wedding?

A.) I am available for consultations, in which we can discuss your music choices and I can provide you with live samples of the pieces you would like me to play.

Q.) Why would you recommend the harp over another instrument for our event?

The harp creates such a beautiful atmosphere, unique from any other instrument. It’s individual sound and stunning appearance adds a really interesting element to any function.

Q.) When is the best time to have music during my wedding day?

A.) Recommended times to have live music during your day, is during your Church or Civil Ceremony, as well as for throughout the Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast.

Music during your Ceremony includes:

• Entrance music for the guests (Approx. 20mins)
• Entrance of the bride (A piece for the bridal party arrival)
• Signing of the register (A couple of pieces while you sign legal documents)
• Exit of the bride and groom (A piece to exit to)
• Exit of the guests (Approx. 15mins)

Drinks Reception:Up to 2 Hours of music

Wedding Breakfast: Up to 3 Hours of music

Q.) How much does a wedding harpist cost?

A.) A wedding harpist will usually cost between £250 - £650 depending on the package that you choose. They may also charge a fee to cover their travel expenses. Please get in touch to find out my rates for the packages shown above.
